The Sangiovese grape is king of reds in the southern tip of Italy in Puglia. Brondello takes this wine and shows a softer more juicy side of Sangiovese. It is medium-bodied with a good short hint a tannin. Solid acidity remains, as it should, making this bottling well paired for tomato based pastas and baked dishes with savory flavors of mushroom and onion. A real bargain price. We sell lots of this wine because it has good taste and is very versatile with many food dishes
