Let me introduce you to it. Damian Davis, vintner of Portlandia, was at Surdyk’s a few weeks back and I had a moment to taste this Pinot and talk to him about the dynamic wine he has produced. This is 100% Pinot Noir, 100% Oregon, and 95% Willamette Valley fruit. In your glass, this is red wine full of big flavors and robust texture. Ripe, red cherry and juicy plum are hard to miss. Some Oregon signature earthiness offers spiciness, dried forest mushrooms, and briary wood smoke. Tannins are likable and acidity is well-balanced. Here’s Pinot Noir to charm you and presents a really delicious taste for lots of foods. Find it in aisle 6!
