Apothic Inferno

Details

The Gallo folks have hit a home run with Apothic Red, a lip-smacking blend that jumps off our shelves. Next came Apothic Dark & Apothic Crush. Now comes the most dynamic of the offerings, Apothic Inferno. Each Apothic revels in its own distinct taste, and with Inferno you'll find a whiskey influence. This blend is aged for 60 days in whiskey barrels. A light caramel, light vanilla, light maple works its way into the wine for a candied nuance that deepens the flavors. There's a signature sweetness that impresses and a high alcohol that accents. If you are a fan of Apothic Red and its variations, this new Inferno will fire your enthusiasm for bigger and better. -Bill McCleary
