Details

"This is a Washington State Sauvignon Blanc from a winery that has been making great wine in the Columbia Valley for over three decades. I happen to be rather fond of it because it is a crowd pleasing wine that doesn't achieve that status by being forgettable. Rather it has universal appeal, thanks to notes of citrus and apple that are round and supple, not sharp and tart. Light-bodied with a reasonable alcohol content (12.8%) makes this a wine that can be enjoyed from lunch to happy hour to dinner. Easy to enjoy alone, too. Pair this light wine with a cut of the Cheese Shop's Venison Pté to counter the richness in the meat." -Noelle Starr, Wine Consultant at Surdyk's
