The DOC Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi is the best known area for Verdicchio and is located in Central Italy on the Adriatic coast.  The wines are crisp and dry with elegant aromas and flavors.  This bottling has mellow pear and citrus fruit with a light note of almond.  It has a soft mouth feel with a crisp finish.
